Nearby Share is a relatively new feature for Android devices that allows Android users to send links, files, photos, videos, and other essentials to nearby Android devices.
With Android’s Nearby Share, file sharing is now more convenient and accessible than ever. However, the drawback is that both users must have the same app installed for successful file sharing. Before Nearby Share, there are numerous apps that allow file sharing on Android. The complete process doesn’t take much time and is extremely useful in situations when the receiver’s handset has no active data plan or is not connected to a Wi-Fi.The AirDrop for Android equivalent is ”Nearby Share”. Step 9: Once received, click on the ‘Install Now’ button beside the apps or click on ‘Install All’ if all apps are received.
